Hon. (Mrs.) Rosy Senanayake,— To ask the Minister of Environment and Renewable Energy,—
(a) Is he aware that bedrock has been cut in the Makeliya area within the Kukuleganga Power House zone?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) as to who permitted the cutting of the above bedrock;
(ii) the reasons for cutting this bedrock;
(iii) whether the Divisional Secretary of Palinda Nuwara has granted the permission required for that; and
(iv) the persons involved in the cutting of this bedrock?
(c) If not, why?
