Hon. Sujeewa Senasinghe,— To ask the Minister of Transport,—
(a) Will he inform this House of the basic salaries of the employees of the Sri Lanka Transport Board ?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether he admits that a decision was taken to increase the basic salaries of the employees of the Sri Lanka Transport Board by 39% with effect from 16.03.2012;
(ii) whether steps have been taken by now, to grant that increment; and
(iii) if not, the date on which steps will be taken to grant that increment with arrears ?
(c) If not, why ?

ජොනී ඇවිල්ලා අපේ කැබිනට් ඇමතිතුමෙක් නේ. එතුමාට ආයේ එන්න දෙයක් නැහැ. එතුමා ඇවිත් ඉවරයි. එතුමාට අපේ අතිගරු ජනාධිපතිතුමා හොඳට සැලකුවා. විපක්ෂ නායකතුමා නම් අපේ දයාසිරි මන්ත්රීතුමාට සැලකුවේ නැහැ. නමුත් අපේ අතිගරු ජනාධිපතිතුමා ජොන්ස්ටන් ප්රනාන්දු මැතිතුමාට හොඳට සැලකුවා. [බාධා කිරීමක්] ඒවා හොඳට කර තිබෙනවා. ඉතින් විපක්ෂ නායකතුමාට ඒ කාර්ය භාරය ගන්න බැරි වුණේ ඇයි? ඒක නේ, මම කියන්නේ. [බාධා කිරීමක්] පරණ ශ්රී ලංකා නිදහස් පක්ෂය තිබෙනවා. අලුත් ශ්රී ලංකා නිදහස් පක්ෂයට එන අයත් ඉන්නවා. එතුමන්ලා ආවාට පක්ෂයේ ඉන්න පරණ අයට හානියක් වන්නේ නැහැ. මම පරණ මිනිහෙක් නේ. ඒ නිසා මම දන්නවා ඒ අයට හානියක් වන්නේ නැති බව. එතුමන්ලාගේ ඒ දක්ෂකම් විපක්ෂ නායකතුමා ප්රයෝජනයට ගත්තේ නැහැ. අන්න ඒකයි වුණේ. ඒකයි මම කියන්නේ. ඒ දක්ෂකම් අපේ අතිගරු ජනාධිපතිතුමා ප්රයෝජනයට ගත්තා. ඒකට මොනවා කරන්නද?

(ආ) (i) 2012.03.01 දින සිට ශ්රී ලංගම සේවකයින්ගේ මූලික වැටුප 39.14%කින් වැඩි කරන ලදී.

2012.03.01වන දින සිට ක්රියාත්මක වන පරිදි ගෙවීම් කරනු ලැබේ.
(iii) ඉහත (ආ)හි (ii) පරිදි වේ.
(ඇ) අදාළ නොවේ.
