Hon. Sujeewa Senasinghe,— To ask the Minister of Transport,—

(a) Is he aware that —

(i) the EPF money due for the employees of the service stations administered under the Sri Lanka Transport Board has not been credited to bank since 2010; and

(ii) the employees of the SLTB who retired after 2010 have not been able to get their EPF money as their dues have not been credited to bank?

(b) Will he inform this House —

(i) of the total amount of money that has to be credited to bank as EPF money of the employees of the service stations of the aforesaid institute since 2010 to date;

(ii) of the date on which the aforesaid EPF money will be credited to bank; and

(iii) of the amount of money that has to be paid as surcharge since the aforesaid money was not credited to bank before the due date?

(අ) (i) බැංකුගත කර නොමැත.

(ii) ඔව්.

(ආ) (i) රුපියල් මිලියන 3,748යි.

(ii) මහා භාණ්ඩාගාරය මඟින් 2010 වර්ෂයේ සිට ප්‍රධාන කාර්යාලය, ප්‍රාදේශීය කාර්යාල සහ ප්‍රාදේශීය වැඩපලවල ආදායම් නොඉපවන ඒකකයන්හි වැටුප් ගෙවීම සඳහා දෙනු ලැබූ මුදල් රුපියල් මිලියන 3,161 නතර කිරීම නිසා එම සේවකයින්ගේ වැටුප් ද ශ්‍රී ලංකා ගමනාගමන මණ්ඩලයේ අනෙකුත් ඩිපෝවන්හි ආදායම් මගින් ගෙවීම නිසා මෙම අර්ථසාධක මුදල් ගෙවීමට නොහැකි වී ඇත.

මහා භාණ්ඩාගාරය වෙත ලිඛිතව මේ මුදල් සම්බන්ධව දන්වා ඇති අතර 2014 අයවැය ඇස්තමේන්තුව පිළියෙල කිරීමේදී මෙම මුදල් මහා භාණ්ඩාගාරය ‍මඟින් ඉල්ලුම් කොට ඇත. එලෙස මුදල් ලැබූ විගසම බැංකුගත කිරීමට කටයුතු යොදනු ඇත.

(iii) රු.මිලියන 964.4කි.

(ඇ) අදාළ නොවේ.
