Hon. Ajith P. Perera,— To ask the Minister of Higher Education,—
(a) Will he state separately on yearly basis the number of candidates who sat for the competitive examination for the selection of students for the Bachelor of Law (LLB) Degree Course conducted by the Open University of Sri Lanka in the years 2009,2010 and 2011 ?
(b) Will he also state separately the date on which the aforesaid examination was held and the date on which the results were released in each of the years 2009,2010 and 2011 ?
(c) Will he further state whether the above facts are in agreement with (the concept of) “Efficiency” included in the “Vision Statement” of the Open University of Sri Lanka ?
(d) If not, why ?

(ඇ) මෙම පාඨමාලාව සඳහා ලැබෙන අතිවිශාල ඉල්ලුම්පත් සංඛ්යාව අනුව සුදුස්සන් තෝරා ගැනීමේ ක්රියාවලියේ විවිධ අදියර මුළුල්ලෙහිම දැඩි රහස්යභාවයක් පවත්වා ගැනීමට සිදු විය. සැලකිය යුතු අයදුම්කරුවන් සංඛ්යාවක් පරීක්ෂණයේ විවිධ කොටස් සඳහා වූ බහුවරණ පිළිතුරු පත්රවල විභාග අංක දෝෂ සහිතව සඳහන් කර තිබුණි. මෙම තත්ත්වය ද මුහුණ දුන් අනෙකුත් දුෂ්කරතා ද තෝරා ගනු ලැබුවේ නිවැරදි අපේක්ෂකයන් බවට තහවුරු කර ගැනීමට යොදා ගත් බහුවිධ ක්රියාවලිය ද සැලකූ කල සමස්ත කාර්යය සඳහා ගෙන ඇති කාලය සාධාරණ වේ.
