Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) whether it was stated on the 23rd May 2012 that Maize of Rs 350 million had been exported from Sri Lanka;
(ii) the export figures of the Maize since May 2012 onwards on per month basis;
(iii) the total production of Maize in Sri Lanka from 2011 to date on per year basis;
(iv) the cost of production of Maize;
(v) the areas where the Maize is grown predominantly in Sri Lanka; and
(vi) the countries to which Sri Lanka exports Maize?
If not why?
