Hon. (Ms.) Ambika Samivel,— To ask the Minister of Environment,— (2)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) separately, of the types of cut flowers and plants imported into Sri Lanka;
(ii) separately, of the number of flowers imported annually from each type of said flowers;
(iii) of the annual cost of importing these types of flowers;
(iv) whether the types of flowers that are imported can be grown in Sri Lanka; and
(v) if so, of the programme that has been prepared for that purpose?
(b) If not, why?
