Hon. Sudath Balagalla,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) minimum price fixed by the government for purchasing one kilogram of paddy in each year during the period from the year 2015 to 2023, separately;
(ii) number of lorries currently owned by the Paddy Marketing Board that are available for transporting paddy; and
(iii) number of rice mills currently owned by the Paddy Marketing Board?
(b) If not, why?
