Hon. Thilanka U. Gamage,—To ask the Minister of Health and Mass Media,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of Central Government hospitals and Provincial Council hospitals in the Galle District separately;
(ii) of the name of each of the said hospitals and the category they are graded into separately;
(iii) whether a supervision has been carried out with regard to the current situation of the Baddegama District Hospital; and
(iv) whether steps will be taken to address the shortcomings that exist in the said hospital?
(b) Will he also inform this House —
(i) whether there is a data and information system regarding the current situation of the Regional Health Services Centres in Sri Lanka; and
(ii) if so, whether he has an understanding regarding the current situation of the said Centres?
(c) If not, why?
