Hon. Danushka Ranganath,— To ask the Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) roads in Kalutara District that are included in the programme to develop 100,000 kilometers of alternative roads;
(ii) roads where development works have been completed and those that remain incomplete at present, out of those, separately;
(iii) total cost incurred for each road, separately; and
(iv) progress of development works of each road, separately?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the reasons for the incompletion of development works of the said roads;
(ii) whether a decision has been made on the future measures that will be taken regarding such roads;
(iii) if so, of such measures;
(iv) whether maintenance of those roads are duly carried out; and
(v) whether the roads taken over by other institutions for the above-mentioned programme have been handed back to the relevant institutions?
(c) If not, why?
