Hon. Danushka Ranganath,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he state —
(i) whether all the lands belonging to the Land Reform Commission in the Kalutara District have been precisely identified separately;
(ii) if so, among them, the extent of the lands that are not currently used but can be used in accordance with the Land Reform Law No. 1 of 1972, and of the nature of the present ownership of the lands concerned, separately for each Divisional Secretariat Division; and
(iii) the actions that will be taken in respect of the said lands?
(b) Will he also state —
(i) whether title deeds and survey plans have been issued for all the lands that belong to the Commission in the Kalutara District;
(ii) if so, their period of validity;
(iii) whether lands belonging to the Commission can be released for persons who do not have land or those being resettled;
(iv) if so, the relevant procedure relating thereto; and
(v) whether the lands that belong to the Commission, which have been given on lease basis, can be repossessed if the said lands have not been used for the relevant purpose?
(c) If not, why?
