Hon. Chamara Sampath Dasanayake,—To ask the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of state-owned official residences occupied by the Ministers of the Cabinet of Ministers and State Ministers during the period of the previous government, excluding the official residences of the Members of Parliament in Madiwela Housing Complex;
(ii) of the present condition of the said state-owned official residences;
(iii) whether the said state-owned official residences have been provided to other institutions or businesses on a lease or rent basis; and
(iv) of the number of Ministers and Deputy Ministers of the present government to whom such official residences have been duly allocated?
(b) If not, why?
