Hon. M.S. Uthumalebbe,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) total area of the paddy lands located in the Ampara District;
(ii) total amount of the paddy harvest in the Ampara District in the Yala seasons of the years 2024 and 2025 and the amount purchased by the Paddy Marketing Board, out of the said harvest separately;
(iii) number of warehouses belonging to the Paddy Marketing Board in the Ampara District;
(iv) address of each of the said warehouses, separately; and
(v) number of warehouses that are equipped with paddy dryer machines, out of those referred to in (iii) above?
(b) If not, why?
