Hon. Roshan Akmeemana,—To ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the extent of lands belonging to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority located in the Trincomalee District;
(ii) of the future plans regarding the lands concerned;
(iii) whether there is a land that belongs to the Authority in the Sweet Bay area;
(iv) of the extent of the particular land;
(v) of the name of the company that has illegally constructed a fence on the said land and is forcibly occupying it;
(vi) whether the company concerned has an entitlement to the said land; and
(vii) if not, of the legal action that will be taken against the company?
(b) If not, why?
