Hon. Ajantha Gammeddage,— To ask the Minister of Urban Development, Construction and Housing,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the objectives of establishing the Urban Development Authority;
(ii) of the name and location of each of the development projects that are being implemented by the Urban Development Authority in the Matara District separately;
(iii) of the date of commencement, the nature, the objectives, the amount spent, and the current status of the project, separately in relation to each project implemented within the city limits of Matara, out of the said projects;
(iv) whether the intended objectives of the Matara ‘Gangabada Udyana’ and ‘Thurunu Uyana’ projects have been achieved; and
(v) of the administrative structure of each of the projects referred to above and the individuals involved in the said structure separately?
(b) If not, why?
