Hon. Susantha Kumara Nawarathna,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of farms owned by the Sri Lanka Mahaweli Authority;
(ii) of the names of those farms;
(iii) of the extent in acres of the land owned by the Seed Production Farm of Hogodayagama, Galnewa in Anuradhapura;
(iv) whether that farm has been leased out to any individual/institute;
(v) if so, of the year in which it was leased out;
(vi) of the name and the address of the individual/institute to whom / to which said farm has been leased out; and
(vii) whether that individual/institute has paid the lease rent properly?
(b) If not, why?
