Hon. Susantha Kumara Nawarathna,— To ask the Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of economic centers established in Sri Lanka;
(ii) out of the above-mentioned centers, of the number of those in operation and those not in operation at present, separately;
(iii) whether he is aware that there is an economic center in Medawachchiya;
(iv) of the date on which the above-mentioned economic center was opened;
(v) of the amount of money spent on the construction of the above-mentioned center;
(vi) of the number of trade stalls available in that center; and
(vii) of the number of those that are currently open for business out of the above-mentioned stalls?
(b) If not, why?
