Hon. Susantha Kumara Nawarathna,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of state lands that have been granted on lease basis in each Divisional Secretariat Division in the Anuradhapura District, separately;
(ii) whether he is aware that the state land of approximately 100 acres in extent located in Kodinnewa village in Grama Niladhari Division No. 153 of Horowpothana Divisional Secretariat Division, has been illegally cleared and cultivated;
(iii) if so, of the individuals who have cleared and cultivated the land referred to above;
(iv) whether the individuals concerned have a legal right to do so;
(v) whether they have obtained the fertilizer subsidy; and
(vi) if so, of the value of the fertilizer subsidy?
(b) If not, why?
