Hon. Ajantha Gammeddage,—To ask the Minister of Urban Development, Construction and Housing,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the Urban Development Authority has prepared a plan to develop the town of Deiyandara;
(ii) of the number of proposals that have been implemented by now out of those contained in the plan referred to above;
(iii) of the measures that will be taken in the future to implement the remaining proposals;
(iv) whether it has been proposed to remove the Deiyandara Primary School from its current location according to the abovementioned plan; and
(v) of the institution/individual authorized to implement the proposal referred to in above?
(b) If not, why?
