Hon. (Mrs.) A.M.M.M. Rathwaththe,—To ask the Minister of Urban Development, Construction and Housing,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) whether the Community Water Supply Centres functioning under the Department of National Community Water Supply have been decided to be taken over to the National Water Supply and Drainage Board;
(ii) if so, of the procedure concerned;
(iii) whether all the properties belonging to the said Community Water Supply Centres will be taken over by the National Water Supply and Drainage Board;
(iv) whether he is aware that the Community Water Supply Unit in New Medagame, Dehiattakandiya has been taken over by the Board without conducting a formal audit; and
(v) whether approval of Cabinet of Ministers has been obtained for the said takeover?
(b) If not, why?
