Hon. Sujeewa Dissanayake,—To ask the Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the present status of the government land known as Welangolla Estate (“Hamuge Waththa”) located in Maho Divisional Secretariat Division;
(ii) of the extent of the said land in acres;
(iii) whether the land has been allocated for any industries;
(iv) if so, of those industries;
(v) of the extent of land that has been allocated for such industries in acres; and
(vi) of the number of employees of those industries?
(b) If not, why?
