Hon. (Dr.) Kavinda Heshan Jayawardhana,— To ask the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the amount that has been granted by the Asian Development Bank to the Colombo Municipal Council for the improvement of the sewerage system in the city of Colombo, and the amount that has been utilized out of the said grant by now, separately;
(ii) whether he is aware that a portion of the funds granted by the Asian Development Bank has not been utilized and has instead been deposited in an account by the Colombo Municipal Council;
(iii) if so, of the said amount; and
(iv) of the measures that will be taken in this regard?
(b) If not, why?
