Hon. Ruwanthilaka Jayakody,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House —
(i) of the date on which the construction of the swimming pool at the President’s College, Minuwangoda was commenced;
(ii) of the estimated cost and the amount spent so far on the construction of the swimming pool concerned, separately;
(iii) whether the amount which remains unspent has been deposited in an account related to the said project; and
(iv) if so, of the name and the account number of the said account, separately?
(b) Will she also inform this House of the —
(i) name of the contractor/contractor company that constructs the above-mentioned swimming pool;
(ii) basis on which the said contractor/contractor company was selected;
(iii) extent of the construction work that has been completed so far;
(iv) time that is required for the full completion of the construction work; and
(v) reasons for the delay in completing the construction?
(c) If not, why?
