Hon. Imran Maharoof,—To ask the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of National Youth Corps training centers established in each of the Divisional Secretariat Divisions of the Trincomalee District, separately;
(ii) whether he is aware that the training center that was established in Kinniya area has been closed down and relocated to another area;
(iii) of the reasons for closing down the training center concerned;
(iv) of the reasons for relocating it in another area;
(v) whether there is any obstacle to reopening the training center concerned;
(vi) if not, whether steps will be taken to reopen the training center concerned; and
(vii) if so, of the steps that have been taken in that regard?
(b) If not, why?
