Hon. S.M. Marikkar,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House —
(i) whether she is aware that no national school is situated within the Colombo North Education Division, out of those education divisions in the Colombo District;
(ii) in such case, whether she will take action to establish a national school within the Colombo North Education Division in the time to come;
(iii) whether a suitable school has been identified for this purpose; and
(iv) if not, whether a suitable school will be selected for it in the time to come?
(b) If not, why?
