(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) steps that have been taken so far to fulfill the promise made through the “A Thriving Nation - A Beautiful Life” policy statement to implement the proposals submitted by the Law Commission of Sri Lanka in 2012 regarding “Safe Medical Termination of Pregnancy”; and
(ii) reasons for the delay in expediting the formulation of new laws regarding this matter?
(b) If not, why?
