Hon. Rohana Bandara,—To ask the Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) number of M-class locomotives owned by the Sri Lanka Railways;
(ii) total value of the locomotives concerned;
(iii) number of locomotives that have been deployed in running operations out of the ones referred to above and of the number of those that have been removed from service, separately;
(iv) number of M-class locomotives that have been sent for repairs; and
(v) measures that will be taken to repair them expeditiously?
(b) If not, why?
