Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha,—To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) contribution of the agriculture sector to the Gross Domestic Product of Sri Lanka in each of the years from 2015 up to now along with its financial value, separately;
(ii) causes of the relatively lower contribution of Sri Lanka's agriculture sector in its Gross Domestic Product, compared to that of the other countries; and
(iii) course of action that is implemented to increase the contribution of the agriculture sector to the Gross Domestic Product of Sri Lanka ?
(b) If not, why?
