Hon. Chithral Fernando, Attorney at Law,—To ask the Minister of Health and Mass Media,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) number of government hospitals located in the Puttalam District;
(ii) number of vacancies exist in each of the posts of medical officer and nurse and in paramedical services, separately in each of those hospitals;
(iii) measures that will be taken to fill those vacancies; and
(iv) measures that will be taken to further improve the hospital system in the Puttalam District?
(b) If not, why?
