Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,—To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (3)
(a) Will she inform this House —
(i) whether she is aware that there was an extensive discussion in the society regarding a Central Bank bond scam that occurred during the previous ‘Good-Governance’ regime;
(ii) of the names and the positions of the individuals against whom allegations were leveled by the report of the Presidential Commission appointed to investigate the aforesaid matter;
(iii) of the impact that aforesaid bond scam created on the economy of Sri Lanka; and
(iv) of the future actions that will be taken regarding aforesaid bond scam?
(b) If not, why?
