Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha,— To ask the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House —
(i) of the number of factories in operation at present in the Bingiriya Export Processing Zone;
(ii) of the names of those factories;
(iii) of the way in which those factories are categorized;
(iv) of the number of direct and indirect jobs generated through each factory, separately; and
(v) whether there are investors who have contracted to start new factories; and
(vi) if so, of the details in that regard?
(b) If not, why?
