Hon. Nalin Bandara Jayamaha,— To ask the Minister of Energy,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the —
(i) number of private power plants in operation at present in Sri Lanka;
(ii) names of those power plants;
(iii) name and address of the owner of each power plant separately; and
(iv) amount paid to the owners of those power plants from 2015 to date, separately each year?
(b) Will he also inform this house —
(i) whether he is aware that the agreements reached with the aforesaid power plant owners are very unfavourable; and
(ii) if so, the measures that would be taken in this regard?
(c) If not, why?
