Hon. Chamara Sampath Dasanayake, — To ask the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the—
(i) number of officials who participated representing the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in the discussions that were held with the International Monetary Fund recently in Washington DC, USA, Separately;
(ii) amount that was spent on their air tickets and on travelling separately in US dollars and in Sri Lankan rupees;
(iii) amounts that were paid to the companies named Lazard and Clifford Chance for the aforementioned discussions; and
(iv) nature of the benefits accrued to Sri Lanka from the said discussions?
(b) If not, why?
