Hon. Kins Nelson,—To ask the Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development,— (1)
(a) Will he inform this House of the—
(i) date on which the President summoned a report concerning the existing paddy stocks;
(ii) institutions / persons who maintain stocks of paddy according to the report referred to above;
(iii) volumes of paddy maintained by each such institution / person separately; and
(iv) measures that have been adopted so far for controlling the price of rice?
(b) If not, why?
