Hon. Chaminda Wijesiri,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education,— (1)
(a) Will she inform this House of the—
(i) number of state universities currently awarding Bachelor of Laws degree in Sri Lanka;
(ii) names of those universities;
(iii) number of graduates that have completed the Bachelor of Laws degree at the universities referred to above, separately in respect of each year from 2020 to date; and
(iv) measures have been taken to establish Faculties of Law in a few other universities with a view to promoting legal education?
(b) If not, why?
