Hon. Sajith Premadasa,— To ask the Minister of Power and Energy,—
(a) Will she state separately, on district basis—
(i) the number of villages without electricity in the Eastern Province; and
(ii) the names of those villages ?
(b) Will she inform this House—
(i) of the period of time within which action will be taken to provide electricity to the aforesaid villages without electricity; and
(ii) whether there was a possibility to provide electricity to all the villages without electricity in the Eastern Province, within the year 2012 ?
(c) If not, why ?
