Hon. (Mrs.) Thalatha Atukorale,— To ask the Minister of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether the circuit bungalow located at Kadamuduna at Bulutota in the Kolonna Divisional Secretariat Division in Ratnapura District belongs to the Ministry of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities;
(ii) whether that circuit bungalow has been leased out by the Housing Development Authority by now;
(iii) whether a proper tender procedure was followed when leasing it out;
(iv) if so, the bids submitted for it;
(v) the value of the tender to which the circuit bungalow was leased out;
(vi) whether he admits the fact that it was not the tender with the highest value; and
(vii) if so, whether action will be taken to cancel that tender agreement and call for fresh tenders ?
(b) If not, why?
