Hon. Dayasiri Jayasekara,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the number of Sasanarakshaka Balamandalayas functioning in the island ;
(ii) whether arrangements have been made by now to make financial provisions for each Sasanarakshaka Balamandalaya ; and
(iii) if so, separately the financial provisions made annually from year 2010 to date ?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether arrangements have been made to establish a fund in the name of Sasanarakshaka Balamandalaya or a similar name ;
(ii) if so, of the manner in which financial provisions will be obtained for the aforesaid fund ; and
(iii) of the objectives of the aforesaid fund ?
(c) If not, why?

ගරු කථානායකතුමනි, අග්රාමාත්යතුමා සහ බුද්ධ ශාසන හා ආගමික කටයුතු අමාත්යතුමා වෙනුවෙන් මා ඒ ප්රශ්නයට පිළිතුර දෙනවා.
(අ) (i) ශාසනාරක්ෂක බල මණ්ඩල සංඛ්යාව - 312යි.
(ii) ඔව්.
(iii) 2010 වර්ෂයේදී දිස්ත්රික් හා ප්රාදේශීය ශාසනාරක්ෂක බල මණ්ඩල සඳහා තැපැල්, ගමන් වියදම් හා මුද්දර ගාස්තු වශයෙන් රුපියල් 4,590,000.00යි.
2011 වර්ෂයේදී දිස්ත්රික් හා ප්රාදේශීය ශාසනාරක්ෂක බල මණ්ඩල සඳහා තැපැල්, ගමන් වියදම් හා මුද්දර ගාස්තු වශයෙන් රුපියල් 4,635,000.00යි.
2012 වර්ෂයේදී දිස්ත්රික් හා ප්රාදේශීය ශාසනාරක්ෂක බල මණ්ඩල සඳහා තැපැල්, ගමන් වියදම් හා මුද්දර ගාස්තු වශයෙන් රුපියල් 4,574,375.00යි.
(ආ) (i) ඔව්.
(ii) දහම් පාසල් කොඩි අළෙවියෙන් සහ ගරුතර ස්වාමින් වහන්සේලාගේ පෞද්ගලික ධන පරිත්යාගයෙන්.
(iii) සම්බුද්ධ ශාසනයේ චිරස්ථිතිය සහ උන්නතිය සඳහාත් භික්ෂුන් වහන්සේලාගේ හා බෞද්ධ ප්රජාවගේ සුබසාධනය.
(ඈ) අදාළ නොවේ.
