Hon. Uddika Premarathne,— To ask the Minister of Mass Media,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of cinema theaters in Sri Lanka with screening facilities for all film categories;
(ii) of the annual revenue generated by aforesaid cinema theatres;
(iii) whether plans have been made to increase the income, generated by the film industry in Sri Lanka;
(iv) if so, of aforesaid plans;
(v) whether plans have been formulated for the future progress of the film industry; and
(vi) if so, of aforesaid plans?
(b) If not, why?
