Hon. Asanka Navarathna,— To ask the Minister of Education,—
(a) Will he inform this House of—
(i) the number of principals serving in the government schools in Kurunegala district by now; and
(ii) the name, official address, private address, telephone number, date of appointment to the post of principal, the grade held at present and the due date for retirement, separately for each of the said principals?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) whether a decision has been taken by the line ministry or the Ministry of Education of North Western Province regarding the period for which the post of principal of a government school could be held;
(ii) if so, what that decision is; and
(iii) of the policy decisions taken by the Ministry of Education of North Western Province regarding the transfers of principals subsequent to 01.01.2023?
(c) If not, why?
