2330/2012: CIVIL SECURITY OFFICERS : CONFIRMATION OF SERVICE

Hon. Sajith Premadasa,— To ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Buddha Sasana and Religious Affairs,—

(a) Is he aware that —

(i) the Civil Security Department has been established as per Cabinet decision No.16/1395/206/052 dated 02.08.2006, to assist the Sri Lanka Police Service;

(ii) Civil Security Officers have acted with total commitment when a war situation prevailed, at ceremonies of national importance and in various disaster situations; and

(iii) it has been stated that the officers who had completed 180 days of uninterrupted service by 31.10.2009 would be confirmed speedily as per the Circular issued by the Civil Security Department on 15.12.2009 ?

(b) Will he state—

(i) the number employed in the Civil Security Service at present;

(ii) the daily wages paid to each category of officers currently serving in various fields of that service;

(iii) whether measures will be taken to confirm the employees of the aforesaid Department who are serving for daily wages, place them on a permanent salary scale and grant them all the privileges that public officers are entitled to; and

(iv) the time frame required for that?

ගරු කථානායකතුමනි, අග්‍රාමාත්‍යතුමා සහ බුද්ධ ශාසන හා ආගමික කටයුතු අමාත්‍යතුමා වෙනුවෙන් මා එම ප්‍රශ්නයට පිළිතුර දෙනවා.

(අ) (i) ඔව්.

(ii) ඔව්.

(iii) සිවිල් ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව මඟින් 2009.12.15 දින චක්‍ර ලේඛයක් නිකුත් කර නොමැත.

(ආ) (i) තිස්අට දහස් පන්සියයක් පමණ. (38,500)

(ii) තනතුර දෛනික දීමනාව/ වැටුප් (රු) දිස්ත්‍රික් නිලධාරි 530.00

නියාමක 485.00

උප නියාමක 445.00

සිවිල් ආරක්ෂක භටයින් 405.00

මීට අතිරේකව රාජ්‍ය පරිපාලන චක්‍රලේඛ අනුව ඉහත දෛනික වැටුපට සියයට 15ක දීමනාවක්ද, වැඩ කරන දිනකට රුපියල් 220ක ජීවන වියදම් දීමනාවක්ද ගෙවනු ලැබේ.

(iii) සිවිල් ආරක්ෂක සාමාජිකයන්ගේ සේවය ස්ථිර කර විශ්‍රාම වැටුප් හිමිකම ලබා දීම සඳහා ඉදිරිපත් කළ අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩල සංදේශය අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩලය විසින් 2012 අගෝස්තු මස 08 දින අනුමත කර ඇති අතර, ඒ අනුව ඉදිරි කටයුතු සිදු කරමින් පවතී.

(iv) අදාළ චක්‍රලේඛ හා අවශ්‍ය උපදෙස් විශ්‍රාම වැටුප් අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල් විසින් නිකුත් කළ පසු විශ්‍රාම වැටුප් යෝජනා ක්‍රමය ක්‍රියාත්මක වනු ඇත.

(ඇ) පැන නොනඟී.
