Hon. Ravi Karunanayake,— To ask the Minister of Sports,—
(a) Will he state—
(i) the number of registered sports bodies in the country;
(ii) the names of the legally elected heads of the aforesaid bodies; and
(iii) the names of the politicians who are heading the sports bodies?
(b) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether accounts of sports bodies have been submitted annually as required by law;
(ii) if so, the accounts for the year 2010 have been submitted;
(iii) the names of the sports bodies that have not submitted accounts to the relevant authority. and
(iv) the fine imposed on the errant sports bodies?
(c) If not, why?

(අ) (i) රට තුළ ලියා පදිංචි ක්රීඩා ආයතන සංඛ්යාව පනස් තුනකි. (53කි.)
(ii) නීත්යනුකූලව පත් වූ දැනට ක්රියාකාරී ක්රීඩා සංගම්වල සභාපති / ලේකම් / භාණ්ඩාගාරිකගේ නාම ලේඛනය ඇමුණුම 01 ලෙස අමුණා ඇත.
(iii) ඇමුණුම 02 ලෙස ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇත.
(ආ) (i) ඔව්. දැනට ක්රියාත්මක ක්රීඩා සංගම් 47ක් අතුරින් ක්රීඩා සංගම් 39ක් 2010 වර්ෂයට ගිණුම් වාර්තා ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇත.
(ii) 2010 වර්ෂයට සංගම් 08ක් වාර්ෂික ගිණුම් ඉදිරිපත් කර නැත.
(iii) අදාළ බලධාරියාට ගිණුම් ඉදිරිපත් කර නොමැති ආයතන:
01. ශ්රී ලංකා ටයිකොන්ඩෝ සම්මේලනය
02. ශ්රී ලංකා චෙස් සම්මේලනය
03. ශ්රී ලංකා පාරම්පරික කරාටේ සම්මේලනය
04. ශ්රී ලංකා ආධුනික කබඩි සම්මේලනය
05. ශ්රී ලංකා සැහැල්ලු පන්දු සම්මේලනය
06. ශ්රී ලංකා බේස්බෝල් සම්මේලනය
07. ශ්රී ලංකා සැහැල්ලු පන්දු ටෙනිස් හා බේස්බෝල්
08. ආබාධිතයන්ගේ ක්රීඩා පිළිබඳ ජාතික සම්මේලනය
(iv) ගිණුම් වාර්තා ඉදිරිපත් නොකළ ක්රීඩා ආයතන වෙනුවෙන් දඩ පැනවීමේ ක්රමවේදයක් දැනට ක්රියාත්මක නොවේ.
