Hon. Hector Appuhamy,— To ask the Minister of Trade, Commerce and Food Security,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the demand for and the supply of eggs in Sri Lanka from 2015 up to date, separately for each year;
(ii) whether he is aware of the fact the price of eggs has gone up as the supply doesn’t meet the demand; and
(iii) the measures taken to maintain the price of eggs at a reasonable level?
(b) If not, why?
