Hon. U. K. Sumith Udukumbura,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Is he aware that—
(i) the open market prices of agricultural tools and implements have risen excessively;
(ii) the farmers have faced great difficulty due to the fact that they are unable to purchase implements for agricultural activities; and
(b) Will he inform this House whether a program will be prepared to provide agricultural tools and implements at subsidized prices?
(c) If not, why?
