Hon. P. Harrison,— To ask the Minister of Construction, Engineering Services, Housing and Common Amenities,—
(a) Will he state separately at district level, the number of apartment houses, the number of housing villages, the names of those villages, the number of houses in each village and the number of scattered houses constructed under the supervision of the National Housing Development Authority in Sri Lanka in the year 2011 ?
(b) Will he state separately as per each district—
(i) the amount given as housing loan assistance to other districts other than the Anuradhapura District in the year 2011; and
(ii) the names of recipients of houses selected for granting the aforesaid housing loan assistance ?
(c) Will he state—
(i) if loans are given by the state banks, the names of those banks;
(ii) the interest rate charged on such housing loans; and
(iii) if the National Housing Development Authority makes a profit by charging this interest, the amount of that profit ?
(d) If not, why ?
