Hon. Ajith Mannapperuma,— To ask the Minister of Environment,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of quarry sites in Sri Lanka at present;
(ii) of the amount of explosives that have been issued for such work sites since 2020;
(iii) whether he is aware that the audit reports have demonstrated that the explosives are misplaced;
(iv) whether he admits that the said scenario might pose a threat to national security; and
(v) of the measures taken to regulate the explosives issued to quarry sites?
(b) If not, why?
