Hon. Ajith Mannapperuma,—To ask the Minister of Urban Development and Housing,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) whether he admits that the “X-Press Pearl” shipwreck caused massive environmental damage; and
(ii) the current progress in the process of calculating the said environmental damage and providing compensation in respect thereof?
(b) If not, why?
