Hon. Ajith Mannapperuma,— To ask the Minister of Transport and Highways,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) the number of M-9 locomotives imported to Sri Lanka;
(ii) the year in which those locomotives were imported;
(iii) the country from which they were imported; and
(iv) the amount of money spent on that?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) the number used for running and the number kept parked separately, out of the locomotives mentioned in (a) (i) above;
(ii) the measures taken to import locomotives and compartments on need basis only; and
(iii) the measures taken to utilize the locomotives and compartments kept parked by now?
(c) If not, why?
