Hon. Milan Jayathilake,— To ask the Minister of Transport and Highways,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) of the number of members who receive benefits from the National Council for Road Safety;
(ii) whether the people have been made aware of the accidents for which the benefits are provided by that institution; and
(iii) whether there is a possibility to increase the benefits given by that institution?
(b) Will he also inform this House—
(i) of the steps that have been taken to raise awareness among people about the above mentioned institution; and
(ii) whether a course of action has been planned to keep this institution as a more people-friendly institution?
(c) If not, why?
