Hon. Gunathilaka Rajapaksha,— To ask the Minister of Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation,—
(a) Will she inform this House—
(i) the extent of land owned by the Department of Forest Conservation in acres;
(ii) whether she is aware that a large part of such lands has been acquired illegally;
(iii) the extent of illegally acquired lands in hectares; and
(iv) the steps that have been taken in order to get the possession of the aforesaid lands back to the Department of Forest Conservation?
(b) If not, why?
