Hon. (Mrs.) Rajika Wickramasinghe,— To ask the Minister of Agriculture,—
(a) Will he inform this House—
(i) separately, the annual vegetable and fruit production of Sri Lanka;
(ii) out of the aforesaid production separately, the quantity of vegetables and fruits wasted during transportation;
(iii) whether a proper mechanism has been prepared to prevent the waste occur during transportation; and
(iv) if so, the mechanism is?
(b) If not, why?
